Life has a way of shaking things up when we least expect it. For me, a season of big changes and isolation left me searching for something real, something joyful.Â
So, I threw out the rulebook and took a “grief sabbatical,” following my heart to unexpected places—including the “pit” at Harry Styles concerts worldwide, surrounded by strangers who became friends. In those moments of music, laughter, and connection, I realized that joy isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we create, even in life’s messiest moments.
As a teacher, I see so many people feeling disconnected and just going through the motions. That’s why I wrote Styles of Joy—to share a way back to joy that’s real and grounded, finding beauty in the unexpected and meaning in the everyday.
If any of this resonates with you—if you’re ready to reconnect with your own joy—I invite you to pre-order Styles of Joy. It’s a reminder that joy is yours to find, protect, and share. Let’s make life feel more connected, more joyful, and a little more real.
